Orientation

            One of Indonesian dangdut songs that appeared in 2011 again led to controversy. This song titled ‘Hamil duluan’ and sung by dangdut singer Tuty wibowo. The song that was created by Tjahjadi Djajanata only lasted 3 minutes 16 seconds, and he admits that this song was created overnight. But unfortunately this song raises the pros and cons in the society, some like this song and many are deriding this song.

Interpretative Recount

This song tells about a woman who is pregnant out of wedlock as a result of the courtship of the transgressors. Women are told in the song is starting a relationship with each other kissing and hugging, until finally she did the marital relationship and got pregnant before marriage. Chronological depiction of events experienced by the woman in this song is very clear, so impressed the vulgar and not educating the younger generation. Arrangements of the music used in this song is simple, too easily accepted so that the public is very easy to digest and memorize every song lyrics. The things that make this song more easily sung and became hits in the society.

However, this is a lot of conflicts between society. Because on the one hand there are benefited by the existence of this song, but on the other hand, especially as their parent strongly rejects this song was widely publicized because it will damage the child mentally early. We need to realize that the child is very easy to accept everything, especially through the music he heard.

Evaluation

            We are thinking that the song wasn’t educating for society. The song writer described the song clearly about the forms of moral deviation. The song wasn’t worthy to public in front of society, especially for commercial purpose. Unconsciously, that song could made the character of society did something that described by the song. Especially for children, the children more easier to memorize and sing the song that they listened without understanding the meaning of the song. Although the creator and the singer said that the song was created for the purpose of giving advice to teenagers not to do like the meaning of the song, but we are thinking that the song has many negative meaning also negative effects

Evaluative Summation

            If the songwriter or the singer want to make a song with an advice not to imitate the meaning of the song, the creator should make the words more subtle and not too frontal, in order not to cause a negative meaning. Some of the province’s government had made the prohibition law to broadcast the song on television, radio, magazine, or the others. We are very agree with that law, because it was very precise to reducing or stopping the spread of that song, in order not to cause other negative impacts.
